We are embarking on a very special project this year! The Penguin Project is where special needs artists (ages roughly 10-23) work on a production with the aid of a mentor (along with the production team). So, every artist will be paired up with a mentor to help them through rehearsals and performances. This is a nationally known project, started by Dr. Andy Morgan in 2004. BST will be the first theatre in Montana to produce a Penguin Project show. We are producing Honk JR, which is the charming musical tale of the Ugly Duckling and their friends. The performances will be held at Skyview High School auditorium. It is called the Penguin Project because even though penguins can’t fly, their spirits still soar.
