Quand le violoncelle de Sonia Wieder-Atherton s’empare de trésors sacrés du répertoire, c’est toute la lumière du passé qui rejaillit de nos ténèbres.

« La possibilité d’un éveil avant la catastrophe » : c’est ainsi que Sonia Wieder-Atherton décrit ce programme.

Il puise son inspiration dans les de François Couperin composées pour accompagner un rite puissamment évocateur où le chant émerge de l’obscurité pour porter l’espoir d’un nouveau jour à venir. Dans cet arrangement original, enregistré au disque, le violoncelle se substitue à la voix humaine avec une pudeur et une humilité bouleversantes. Un programme inspirant qui redonne foi en la lumière, au fond des ténèbres.
