Samhain na mBan

Women's roles in traditional celebrations will be expressed through song, music, storytelling, ritual, arts, conversation, craft-making and other forms of creative expression. The event celebrates the traditions of Samhain and lá na marbh celebrations from other cultures, such as the Día de los Muertos (Mexico). Áras nan Gael will be decorated in handmade, indigenous symbols relating to Samhain and the celebration of the dead in other cultures.
