Presented by Hawaiʻi Conservatory of Performing Arts at Paliku Theatre November 6 – 15.
Hawaiʻi Conservatory of Performing Arts continues to explore Hawaiʻi-based perspectives, inclusivity, and diversity by highlighting emerging student performers and new local playwrights. Through seven very different scenes we see acts of great courage presented with humor, action, and drama.
Themes include ICE and immigration violations, security guards who save a life, artistic freedom in a highly metatheatrical comedy, and the fearless acts of Private First Class Antony Kahoʻohanohano. These scenes reflect Hawaiʻi Conservatory of Performing Arts’ commitment to hands-on learning in acting, movement, and original stories.
This production is recommended for audiences 14 and older due to mature themes and language, staged violence, and depictions of suicide.
