Join us for an exclusive Members-Only Coffee & Conversation featuring Susan Charlesworth (Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma). She is the Great Niece of Victor M. Locke Jr., Principal Chief of the Choctaw nation, 1910-1918. Susan has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Butler University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University. She is retired following a career as a Healthcare Consultant and Alzheimer’s Association volunteer. Susan lives in Brownsburg, Indiana, with her husband David. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Susan began weaving baskets due to her interest in her Native American heritage and culture. She has entered her baskets in art shows since 2005. She has won many awards from the Choctaw Nation, the Eiteljorg Museum, and the Five Civilicized Tribes Museum. She has participated in the Eiteljorg Museum Indian Market & Festival since 2010.

Susan enjoys time with family, travel, and attending baseball games with David, knitting, and teaching others about her Native American heritage and baskets!

Enjoy coffee, donuts, and engaging conversation with fellow members.
