Magnet Theater is a Chelsea home for improv and sketch comedy, active since 2005, with classes and several shows every night. The calendar mixes long-form improv ensembles, sketch showcases, improvised musicals and student showcases at low ticket prices. It is a small, casual room that doubles as a training center.
