The Boîte à Musiques, designed by Rudy Ricciotti and opened in 2014 in the Borny district, is the contemporary-music concert hall of the Cité musicale-Metz. It holds up to 1,115 standing spectators and hosts rap, chanson, rock and electronic shows, plus a small stage studio for emerging artists.
