Studio KIDS!: Woven in Color

Join us at the museum on select Saturday mornings for Studio KIDS! and Little Learners youth art-making workshops. In these workshop series designed for artists ages 4-5 (Little Learners) and 6-12 (Studio KIDS!), we’ll take inspiration from works on view across the museum and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden and make our own creations with a teaching artist.

About Studio KIDS!: Woven in Color

After discussing color theory, participants will walk through the galleries of the museum on a mission to spot a series of color schemes and harmonies. Artists will use their findings as inspiration, creating their own woven artworks showcasing their chosen color schemes using looms, yarn, and fabric.

This Studio KIDS! session will be led by teaching artist Krystyna.

Registration is $25 for members and $30 for other participants. Advance registration is required and includes the price of all art-making materials.
