Canada Aviation and Space Museum

Housed in a large hangar-style building at the former Rockcliffe airbase, this museum shows more than 130 aircraft and artifacts from Canadian civil and military aviation. Galleries run from early pioneers through the world wars and the Cold War to the jet age and Canada's astronauts. It is open Wednesday to Monday and works well for families.

- Bush flying and remote-wilderness aviation
- Helicopters and VTOL aircraft in Canada

- Pioneers of aviation, aircraft engines, air traffic control, and life aboard the International Space Station
