About Ginny & The E.C.

Instagram | YouTube | Spotify

Ginny & the Eclectic Collective (known as the E.C.) is more than just a band. It’s a musical safe haven to anyone who needs one, and a testament to the brotherly love that can only come out of Philadelphia.

Authentic, unapologetic, and 100% homegrown, Gina Vianale and her band of close friends reject the constraints of society in favor of a chosen family. One that insists on acceptance, inclusion, and having a good time as the ultimate form of resistance.

The songs explore themes of friendship, love, one-night stands, growing up, and the hard times in between. But don’t let the playful melodies, ethereal harmonies, and funny moments deceive you — there is an underlying sadness to the music that, as one critic put it, “hits you like a freight train.”

Each friend in the E.C. complement Vianale’s artistry with their extraordinary talent and infectious charisma. This includes recording engineer Danny Newport (rhythm guitar, vocals), Brendan Moran (bass), Mia Catherine (piano, vocals), David Herman (lead guitar, vocals), Aaron Wolf (drums), and Leah Echevarria (vocals).

A quirky and unlikely group of characters, they are friends and neighbors who’ve found a sense of belonging in the E.C., a feeling they hope listeners resonate with.

“I’m going from back porch schemes to front porch dreams, and they don’t have a clue…”

Except the listener does. The sky is the limit for Ginny and the E.C., a band on an astronomical rise, with everyone coming along for the ride.
