Third Saturday for families:
Ornate Frames
When:
Thursday, January 1, 1970, 12 am
Looking for a free family activity in Salt Lake City? Look no further than the Utah Museum of Fine Arts! Admission to the Museum is free every third Saturday of the month, and there is always an art-making activity for the whole family. This Third Saturday you’ll create an ornate frame for your art!
The Museum’s European and American collection hang in frames almost as splendid as the paintings. Glittering flourishes, golden fruits, intricate flowers adorn portraits and landscapes alike. Explore the galleries to gather ideas for constructing flashy frames for your art at home!
