A natural-history and science museum in Parque Las Maravillas, with four themed pavilions, a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton, a biodome and a cactus garden. A major family attraction in northern Mexico, open since 1999.
Permanent exhibitions
- The Desert and Its Past: fossils of dinosaurs including a 17 m Tyrannosaurus rex
- Man and the Desert: nomadic peoples, rock engravings, tools and rituals
- Evolution and Biodiversity: mammoths, sabre-tooth cats and short-faced bears
- Ecosystems, Laboratories of Life: a biodome and herpetology laboratory with live reptiles
- Botanical garden with over 350 Mexican cactus species and a rain patio
