The Exploratorium is a hands-on science and perception museum on Pier 15 on the Embarcadero, with hundreds of interactive exhibits on light, sound, motion, human behavior and the physical world. It also runs the Tactile Dome, a pitch-dark crawl-through sculpture. On Thursday evenings it opens to adults only for themed After Dark nights with drinks, performances and experiments.
