KDC/SIDF Annual Holiday Winter Shindig

NOTE: This is a partner event. Please visit the Event URL to register or purchase tickets.

The Annual Holiday Winter Shindig is a cornerstone fundraising and community engagement event supporting the work of Khambatta Dance Company and the Seattle

International Dance Festival. Held each winter, the event brings together artists, supporters, and community members for an evening of celebration, connection, and artistic inspiration.

Each year’s Shindig features a unique thematic experience — blending performance, festivity, and purpose — while advancing SIDF’s mission to foster inclusive, globally

connected contemporary dance. The event includes:
A festive dinner and drinks reception

A preview of upcoming programming and international collaborations

A fundraising auction and interactive games
Live dance performances and community dancing

Proceeds from the Shindig directly support artist residencies, public performances by local national and international artists, and international touring, including the SIDF

Winter Mini Fest and new works developed in cross-cultural residencies. The event serves as a vital platform for sustaining SIDF’s vision: to lift spirits, build bridges, and unite communities through the transformative power of dance.
