Mireya Ramos and the Poor Choices is a groundbreaking collaboration that celebrates the rich musical traditions of the U.S.-Mexico border, blending genres like Ranchera, Jarocho, Bluegrass, Jazz, and Country. Led by Grammy-winning vocalist and violinist Mireya Ramos, alongside the genre-defying Poor Choices, the ensemble highlights the border as a dynamic cultural space where ideas and traditions flow freely. Through their fusion of ranchera soul and country storytelling, they embody the resilience, creativity, and spirit of cross-border connection, bringing this vibrant cultural landscape to a broader audience.
