Celebrate Seattle Forest Week! We’re wrapping up this coordinated week of stewardship throughout Seattle’s forests with this event at Pigeon Point Park where we’ll continue planting season!
You and your fellow volunteers will participate in fun, hands-on forest restoration work led by DNDA’s Nature team. Restoration work includes removing invasive plants, planting native species, and mulching new plantings. Specific activities depend on the time of year and restoration progress at each site.
What to bring:
Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers, closed-toed shoes and rain gear as needed. We work rain or shine!
Bring any water you might want during the volunteer event
If you have your own pair of work gloves, feel free to bring them. If not, we will have plenty
Signed youth waiver form, if under 18
