Cabaret

Dancing at the edge of history.

Few musicals feel as essential to revisit or as urgent to re-examine as Cabaret.

Set in Berlin as the shadows of extremism lengthen, Cabaret invites us into a world of music, seduction and dangerous denial. Beneath its unforgettable songs lies one of musical theatre’s most incisive examinations of how societies unravel. Not overnight, but slowly, and in plain sight.

With a bold new vision by director Kimberley Rampersad, this production invites Toronto audiences to experience Cabaret not as a relic of the past, but as a work of thrilling theatrical intelligence and modern relevance.
