We are thrilled to announce that V’ni Dansi will once again be returning for the 21st annual Louis Riel Day Celebration! Join us for an event filled with dance, culture, and fun for the whole family.
This year’s celebration will feature live Métis fiddle and guitar music by Darren Lavallee and Guy Dumont, followed by a screening of a powerful new Métis short film set at the Battle of Batoche. The evening will also showcase our Louis Riel Métis Dancers performing traditional jigging and the Red River Jig Special.
Prepare for a night of music, dance, and storytelling as we celebrate the history and legacy of the great Métis leader of the Red River Resistance!
Event presented by The Dance Centre (Scotiabank Dance Centre). HowDidIMissThat.com is an independent listing and does not organize this event.
