Rachmaninoff

The Piano Concert No 2 is Rachmaninoff’s most famous. Our Rising Star Mina Stefanovic will bring it to life along with Richmond Orchestra. The first half will also feature Beethoven (a prelude to our Triple Beethoven Concert in the Spring) and Borodin.
But, did you know that popular music and famous crooners sang songs associated with the Concerto and with Borodin’s Polovtsian Dance 17? You won’t want to miss this!
Our friend and operatic powerhouse Aaron Durand will join the stage in the second half and dazzle you with tunes by Tony Bennet, Frank Sinatra, and more.
