One of Bengaluru's best known theatre houses, opened in 2004 in memory of actor-director Shankar Nag and built only for theatre. Its slogan is a play a day: touring and local companies perform here almost every evening, in Kannada, Hindi, English and other languages, and it hosts a children's theatre festival and an annual theatre festival.
