The Gateway Theatre (Workshop West Playwrights' Theatre)
8529 Gateway Boulevard NW, Edmonton T6E 6P3
The Gateway Theatre on Gateway Boulevard is the home of Workshop West, a company devoted to new Canadian plays. Besides its own season, which uses pay-what-you-will pricing, it rents the stage for concerts, musicals and movie sing-alongs. It sits at the edge of Old Strathcona and keeps a small bar and lobby gallery.
