The Royal Alberta Museum is the province's major museum of natural and human history, set in a modern downtown building with large permanent galleries and rotating exhibition halls. It mixes dioramas, Indigenous history, natural-history displays and touring shows, plus after-hours workshops and drop-in sketching sessions using the collection.
