The Varscona is a small, artist-run theatre in the heart of Old Strathcona, rebuilt in 2016 and shared by several companies. It is home to Shadow Theatre's Canadian-play seasons and Teatro Live!'s comedies and musical nights, and also hosts the improvised soap opera Die-Nasty. Its intimate size keeps the audience close to the stage.
