Catalonia's major art museum, housed in the Palau Nacional on Montjuïc, built for the 1929 Exhibition and overlooking the whole city. Its collection runs from Romanesque art, with the famous Pyrenean murals, to modern art, and it hosts temporary exhibitions, lecture series and talks.
