The Dampfzentrale, a former steam power station by the Aare in the Marzili, is Bern’s house for contemporary dance and performance. In autumn it hosts the international “Tanz in Bern” festival and in November the “Full Of Lava” music festival, alongside talk series, Ensemble Proton concerts and family programmes.
