Designed by Alvar Aalto and opened in 1958, Kulttuuritalo on Sturenkatu has a hall prized for its acoustics and is one of Helsinki's best-loved concert venues. It hosts rock, pop, jazz, stand-up nights and international tours. Its smaller KULT live club books up-and-coming and more adventurous acts.
