A national memorial built underground in Peace Memorial Park, east of the Cenotaph. It records and displays the names and portraits of atomic-bomb victims, keeps some 150,000 survivors' written accounts that visitors can read in several languages, and stages a yearly themed exhibition and readings; admission is free.
