The pioneering museum of outsider art, opened in 1976 in the Château de Beaulieu from the collection donated by Jean Dubuffet. Works by self-taught, marginal or institutionalised creators shown over several timber-beamed floors, with temporary exhibitions devoted to one artist or theme.
