A vaulted cellar on Rue Lanterne, between Terreaux and the Saône, the Hot Club is a volunteer-run jazz club founded in 1948. From Wednesday to Saturday it presents modern jazz, swing, New Orleans, gypsy jazz and contemporary jazz, with open jam sessions for musicians on Wednesdays.
