A former water-treatment plant turned concert hall in 1989, the Transbordeur stands on the edge of the Parc de la Tête d'Or, on the Villeurbanne side. Its main hall of about 1,800 and its 500-capacity Club host rap, rock, electronic, metal and French chanson, plus long electronic club nights at weekends.
