Theatre opened in 1911 in Forcella, on the edge of the historic centre, now named after Raffaele Viviani and devoted to Neapolitan song and stagecraft. Its programme mixes traditional and experimental theatre, concerts by Neapolitan songwriters and musicians, contemporary dance and holiday shows, with cut-price student tickets.
