Testaccio's nineteenth-century former slaughterhouse, converted into a contemporary arts hub with exhibition pavilions 9a and 9b and the theatre spaces of La Pelanda. It hosts free exhibitions, book launches and, each autumn, much of Romaeuropa Festival's theatre, dance, music and family programme.
