A municipal arts centre next to Asahigaoka subway station, facing Dainohara Forest Park. Its 802-seat concert hall, built for classical music, hosts the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra's subscription series, alongside a 584-seat theatre hall, a multipurpose hall, the small Egg Hall and a gallery. Programming runs from community choirs and orchestras to touring recitalists, rakugo and staged readings.
