The original home of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, opened in 1986 in a sculpture-park setting at the foot of Mt. Cheonggye in Gwacheon, just south of Seoul. It has permanent displays of modern and contemporary Korean art, international masterworks, large temporary shows and a children's museum, and marks its 40th anniversary this year.
