Kumu is the main building of the Art Museum of Estonia, a limestone and copper landmark opened in 2006 on the edge of Kadriorg Park. Its permanent galleries trace Estonian art from the eighteenth century to the present, while eight to ten temporary shows a year bring in historical and contemporary art from Estonia and abroad. The auditorium also hosts films and performances.
