Japan's national theatre for opera, ballet, contemporary dance and drama, connected to Hatsudai station. The Opera Palace hosts season productions with the in-house ballet company and chorus, while the Playhouse and Pit stage the theatre's own drama and dance, training-school shows and visiting companies.
