A Suginami ward theatre beside the tracks north of Koenji station, in a dark tent-like building designed by Toyo Ito. It has two theatres and an Awa-odori hall, and programmes new work by fringe companies, its own repertory, family shows and a dance festival with a neighbourhood feel.
