JCAL is a community arts centre in downtown Jamaica, Queens, with a gallery on Jamaica Avenue and the Jamaica Performing Arts Center a few doors away. It presents the Thursday Night Jazz series, dance and theatre programmes, exhibitions and arts classes for the neighbourhood.
