Canada's national natural history museum fills a castle-like stone building on McLeod Street in Centretown. Permanent galleries show dinosaurs and fossils, minerals, birds, mammals, Arctic life and live bugs, with changing special exhibitions on top. It is a big family destination, open daily in the high season.
