Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix (Ro Ho En)

Ro Ho En is a three-and-a-half-acre Japanese stroll garden beside Hance Park in downtown Phoenix, built as a sister-city gift from Himeji. Besides the garden itself, with its koi pond, waterfall and tea house, it holds tea ceremonies, ikebana and pottery classes, language sessions, evening music and seasonal festivals such as Yokai Night.
