A restored 1920s movie palace on Congress Street in the Arts District, the State Theatre is Portland's main mid-to-large stage for touring bands, stand-up comedians and speakers. The main floor is standing-room for most concerts, with a balcony above, and many shows are all ages. Its booking team also programs Madrid's and Portland House of Music.
