The San Diego Civic Theatre is downtown San Diego's biggest proscenium house, a mid-century hall on Third Avenue at B Street seating just under 3,000. It hosts the Broadway San Diego season, touring comedy and pop shows, the San Diego Opera and large dance productions such as holiday ballets. Expect a big, comfortable theatre crowd rather than a club atmosphere.
