The Walt Disney Family Museum is set in a former barracks building in the Presidio and tells the life and career of Walt Disney through original drawings, films, models and artifacts. Its galleries follow him from childhood to Disneyland, with special exhibitions of animation and illustration art rotating through. It is run by his family and focuses on craft and history rather than theme-park attractions.
