Seattle Art Museum is the city's main art museum, in a downtown building on First Avenue steps from Pike Place Market. Its collections range from Northwest Coast Native art and African and Oceanic art to European painting and contemporary installations, alongside rotating special exhibitions. It is run together with the Seattle Asian Art Museum and the Olympic Sculpture Park.
