Benaroya Hall is the downtown concert hall of the Seattle Symphony, opened in 1998 on Third Avenue at University Street. The main S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium seats about 2,500, with a smaller recital hall for chamber and solo programs. Besides the symphony season it hosts touring orchestras, jazz, pop and speaker series.
