Substation is a warehouse-style venue near the Ship Canal on the Ballard-Fremont border, named after the electrical substation next door. It runs two rooms and an outdoor patio, with a calendar that leans toward electronic music and DJs alongside hip-hop, punk, metal and indie shows.
