平和記念公園の南、本川沿いの加古町にある広島市の文化施設。約1,200席の大ホールのほか、能舞台を備えた中ホール、演劇向けの多目的スタジオ、市民ギャラリーを持ち、ポップスのツアー公演から演劇、文楽、能、バレエ、お笑いまで幅広い催しが開かれる。オペラや演劇の自主公演も手がけている。
